I'll get more into what this is all about latter this evening. For now i went and began a bow at the most rudimentary level. I selected elm about 3" diam as guinea-pig #1.

Thanks alot Alan. I kept the rivercan thicker than i normally would due to it being so green When it's that green even 1/2" diam shafts have alot of flex.

I have found that rivercane shrinks a lot as it dries also. What kind of string did you use on this bow?Alan

Great job, Thimo. I usually tune mine to a drop-D though, gives you more low end crunch-Max would approve Save the Cro-Magnons
